Cardi B’s Daughter Kulture Steals the Show—And the Internet—With Hilarious Album Sabotage

If you thought Cardi B was the queen of unpredictable viral moments, her daughter Kulture just proved the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.

On Saturday night, Cardi B fired up Instagram Live to hype her long-awaited sophomore album, Am I the Drama?, set for release September 19. With her signature Bronx energy, Cardi was halfway through her pitch when the real star of the show made a surprise cameo: her 7-year-old daughter, Kulture.

As Cardi urged fans to “go get my album when it drops,” Kulture—seated beside her and clearly unimpressed—blurted out, “Oh, don’t get her album.” The room went silent for a split second as Cardi’s jaw dropped, her eyes bulging in disbelief.

But in true Cardi B fashion, she didn’t miss a beat. Turning to Kulture (and the thousands watching live), she launched into a comedic, over-the-top warning:

“What you mean, ‘don’t buy my album’? We won’t be able to get shit! We’re going to live in the hood! No more toys, no nice car, nothing. No more Roblox coins, no more Apple, no more Target. No more crab—I think I ate crab in my childhood, like three times!”

The internet, of course, exploded. Clips of the exchange flooded X (formerly Twitter), with fans declaring Kulture the “funniest kid alive” and Cardi the “realest mom on IG.” One viral tweet summed it up:

“Not Kulture said don’t buy her album—Cardi got the funniest kids 😭”

But the chaos didn’t end there. Cardi’s youngest, Wave, chimed in with his own commentary, further derailing the Live and leaving Cardi mock-exasperated.

“KULTURE & WAVE CLOCKING CARDI THE WHOLE LIVE 😂😂😂😂😭❤️ LMAO,” one fan posted.

Despite her kids’ playful sabotage, Am I the Drama? remains one of the most anticipated rap albums of the year. It’s Cardi’s first full-length project since her blockbuster 2018 debut, Invasion of Privacy, which spawned hits like “Bodak Yellow” and “I Like It.” Since then, she’s dominated the charts with singles like “WAP” (with Megan Thee Stallion) and “Up,” but has delayed her second album to perfect every detail.

In recent interviews, Cardi promises Am I the Drama? will be her most personal yet, blending hard-hitting bangers with vulnerable storytelling about motherhood, marriage, and fame. She’s teased collaborations with some of the biggest names in rap and R&B, but is keeping the tracklist a closely guarded secret.

And while Cardi’s fans are counting down the days, it’s clear her toughest critics live under her own roof. But if Kulture’s viral moment is any indication, Cardi B’s family is just as entertaining—and unpredictable—as her music.

What do you think: Is Kulture the real “drama” in Cardi’s life? Will you be streaming the album on September 19—or listening to Kulture’s advice? Sound off below!
