Isabella Guzman Stabb𝗘𝗗 Her Mother 79 Times And Later Became Famous On TikTok

Isabella Guzman violently k!lled her mother, Yun Mi Hoy, in August 2013, and then went viral on the internet while being kept at the Colorado Mental Health Institute after being ruled not guilty due to insanity.

When Isabella Guzman viciously Mur𝗗𝗘r𝗘𝗗 her mother, she was just eighteen years old. Her family was shocked. Despite her behavioral challenges since childhood, her loved ones called her “sweet” and “good-hearted.”

Guzman entered a not guilty plea due to insanity shortly after her arrest. After a judge ordered her to stay at Colorado Mental Health Institute until she posed no threat to herself or other people, the doctors determined that she had schizophrenia.

In 2020, Guzman requested to be discharged from the hospital after claiming her schizophrenia was under control following. Meanwhile, video from her 2013 court hearing surfaced and began to spread on TikTok, gaining her a curious audience.

The Difficult Childhood of Isabella Guzman

From an early age, Isabella Guzman had behavioral problems. When she was about seven years old, her mother sent her to live with her biological father, Robert Guzman. Eventually, Guzman returned to live with Hoy, but she struggled through her teenage years and soon dropped out of high school.

Guzman and Yun Mi Hoy’s relationship rapidly worsened in August 2013. Guzman started acting “more aggressive and arrogant” toward her mother, according to her stepfather Ryan Hoy. On Tuesday, August 27, the two got into a particularly heated disagreement that resulted with Guzman spitting in her mother’s face.

that said, “You will pay.” Hoy, terrified, dialed 911. When they got to the house that day, they talked to Guzman and threatened to have her legally removed if she didn’t start treating her mother with respect and sticking to her rules.

Just as Isabella Guzman slammed the bathroom door shut, Ryan Hoy ran upstairs. Guzman had locked it and was pressing on the other side when he attempted to push through. He hurried back downstairs to dial 911 as soon as he noticed blood oozing beneath the door.

Ryan Hoy heard his wife shout, “Jehovah,” and then he saw Guzman unlock the door and walk out while carrying a bloodied knife. He reported that Guzman “was just staring straight ahead when she walked past him and that he never heard her say anything as she left the bathroom.”

Running into the bathroom, he discovered Yun Mi Hoy covered in knife wounds, naked and lying on the floor next to a baseball bat. She was dead. Investigators discovered that she had sustained at least 79 stab wounds to her head, neck, and chest in addition to having her throat cut.

Isabella Guzman had left by the time the cops showed up. They promptly declared Guzman to be “armed and dangerous,” initiating a manhunt. The following day, police discovered her in a neighboring parking garage, her turquoise shorts and pink sports bra still drenched in her mother’s blood.

As a result, I don’t think she might have acted any differently.”

Guzman entered a plea of not guilty by reason of insanity, which the court accepted. He then committed her to the Colorado Mental Health Institute in Pueblo, where he instructed that she remain until she posed no threat to the safety of others.
