Victoria Beckham has spoken out about her children, explaining how proud she is of all her children, amidst a very public fallout with her eldest son Brooklyn

Victoria Beckham has continued to speak out amid a family feud with son Brooklyn – insisting she’s “so proud” of all her children.

The feud between David and Victoria and their eldest son Brooklyn reached fever pitch when he released a bombshell statement, where he accused his parents of “constantly disrespecting” his wife Nicola Peltz.

Now, Victoria has spoken out about her children amid the family fallout – and heaped praise on her “ambitious” daughter Harper.

Speaking to businesswoman Emma Grede on her Aspire podcast, Victoria said: “I’m so proud of all of the children but you know, Harper, she’s very ambitious. She’s got big dreams. She’s finding her own sense of purpose and what she wants to do. She’s a little entrepreneur herself and I love the fact she looks up to what I do.”

Elsewhere, Victoria said her children had a “very different upbringing” to that of herself and David. She didn’t directly address the very public feud with her son but did say she was never “pushy” or “forcing”.

“I think that our children have had a very different upbringing to myself and David and I think the world is also a very different place now as to what it was when they were younger,” she said.

“Ultimately, you know, we want the kids to be hard working, kind. I’ve always wanted to be the best mum that I could be and look after the kids, but I also feel that it’s been part of my job to really help them fulfil their full potential and for them to recognise what their sense of purpose is. It’s never about being pushy or forcing.”

In the interview, Victoria spoke about how her youngest son Cruz was carving out a career in music – and that he had spent years learning to play instruments and put a band together. She described him as “humble”.

She equally heaped praise on her daughter Harper, saying the youngest Beckham had sat her down with Powerpoint slides and wanted to set up a business in skincare, which she is doing alongside her GCSE studies.

Victoria also warned people not to underestimate her husband David. “The two things that people really don’t realise about David, number one, he’s incredibly smart. He has built incredible businesses and so I do turn to him and ask advice because I respect what he has built. And the other thing is he’s incredibly funny,” she said.

During the interview, Victoria insisted it was her “job” to make sure her kids are the “best versions of themselves” and that they feel “fulfilled”. She said: “I always encourage them to dream big and then dream even bigger.”

Despite their fame, Victoria insists they’re a normal family who eat together and don’t use their phones during dinner. “Being very close is really important to us,” she said, “I’ve always wanted to be the best mum I can be.”

Victoria didn’t mention her feud with Brooklyn but said she felt it was “very different” parenting young children and adult children and that she was just “trying to do the best she can”. She also noted they were “growing up too quickly”.
