The monitor glowed in the dark studio, a cascade of headlines flashing across the screen. Jeff Bezos. Lauren Sanchez. Boycotts. Protests. And a Met Gala that hadn’t even happened yet but was already burning.
“The 2026 Met Gala is already a mess,” the host said, her voice low and steady. “Jeff Bezos has officially taken over with his wife Lauren Sanchez, and a lot of celebrities are starting to protest. Legends refuse to attend the Met Gala if Jeff is there. Kylie Jenner and her boyfriend Timothée Chalamet have been seen out and about in New York City, and fans are convinced that Kylie is going to bring him onto the red carpet. But Kylie’s got bigger problems than just Timothée. And the clock is ticking.”
She leaned forward.
“So let’s get into it.”
She started with Sabrina Carpenter. The runner. The woman who didn’t want to be seen.
“I want to start off by showing you guys this video of Sabrina Carpenter. It seems like she was almost trying to avoid getting photographed.”
She played the clip.
“Sabrina, how are you? Sabrina—”
“It’s good to see you. How are you doing?”
“Why she run?”
“Sabrina, Sabrina—”
She paused.
“People in the comments are like, ‘Sabrina, why is she running?’ ‘Sabrina, she’s too fast.’ ‘Why is she running?’ Maybe she just wants to make sure they don’t get a clear shot of her so they don’t have the evidence that she’s there. But you know what, Sabrina? We all see you.”
She pulled up the first hinge.
“Sabrina Carpenter ran from the paparazzi like she was fleeing a crime scene. But you can’t hide from the cameras at the Met Gala. You can only hide from your conscience. And apparently, hers is catching up.”
She pulled up Kylie and Timothée. The couple who might—or might not—walk the carpet together.
“I don’t think that Timothée Chalamet is actually attending the Met Gala, but I did see him out and about with Kylie Jenner. Actually, Kim Kardashian is working as a producer on a Broadway play based on ‘The Fear of 13.’ It’s a documentary or film where they speak about death row and murder petitions—kind of in the world of Kim Kardashian and her ‘want to be a lawyer’ phase. Though I doubt that Kim Kardashian really did any producing on this play. I feel like ultimately they just want her name as a producer to go and get that extra clout.”
She pulled up the clip of Kim on stage.
“And the clout they did get. We saw Kylie and Timothée and Kim all attending the show.”
She pulled up a comment.
“Lol, nobody was taking pics of them. Kim was like, ‘Please look at me.’”
She nodded.
“There is a lot of speculation on whether Kylie Jenner will be walking the red carpet with Timothée Chalamet because they have done some more public appearances recently. It seems like the Met Gala is naturally their next step.”
She pulled up the analysis.
“The Met Gala is tomorrow, and Kylie and Timothée are both in New York City. Obviously, Kylie and Timothée have not had their Met Gala debut. A lot of people are like, ‘Okay, the stars are aligning. They’re both in New York.’ However, the Knicks played tomorrow in New York City. And as we know, Timothée shows out when it comes to the playoffs.”
She paused.
“Timothée has gone to the Met Gala only one time, and it was in 2021. It was kind of in the beginning stages of his career. And I feel like when it comes to especially male actors, they go to the Met Gala in the beginning of their careers. They don’t need the Met Gala anymore. Like for example, you look at Leonardo DiCaprio, you look at George Clooney, you look at Brad Pitt—none of them go to the Met Gala. They don’t go to these foofy events because they don’t need to get their name out there. So I kind of feel like he’s not going to go. And I also feel like the Met Gala has shifted majorly.”
She pulled up the second hinge.
“Timothée Chalamet has been to the Met Gala once. Once. In 2021. And now he’s dating the face of a billion-dollar cosmetics empire. If he doesn’t walk the carpet with her, it’s not because he’s above it. It’s because he knows something she doesn’t: the Met Gala is no longer a career move. It’s a liability. And Kylie is about to find out the hard way.”
She pulled up Kylie’s real problem. The one that had nothing to do with Timothée.
“Kylie’s got bigger problems than Timothée not attending the Met Gala. Like, can we take a moment to talk about what’s going on in her home? Because she’s been hit with a second lawsuit. Remember like a week ago, I told you guys about one of her housekeepers suing her? Well, now we’ve got a second suit.”

She pulled up the details.
“Kylie Jenner is facing more legal issues. She just got sued for failing to stop her hired help from harassing a second housekeeper. Now, the housekeeper’s name is Hana, and it looks like she’s suing Kylie over twenty causes of action, including harassment, race discrimination, failure to pay wages, failure to prevent or remedy harassment. And it’s the second time that Kylie’s been hit with a very similar lawsuit.”
She paused.
“Interestingly enough, Hana says that she’s been working with the Kardashians since 2019, which is longer than Angelica, the first housekeeper to sue. In 2023, Hana claims that the harassment kicked in from her supervisor, Itzel, saying that she mocked her foreign accent and immigration status. Hmm. That seems to be a theme here.”
She pulled up the birthday detail.
“Hana also claims that her boss threatened to fire her for not staying late for work on her birthday. I guess she was told, quote, ‘Nobody cares about your birthday. Kylie is having a dinner.’”
She shook her head.
“Hana claims that she got so fed up that she wrote a long letter to Kylie and placed it on her massage bed, telling her about the harassment and retaliation. But it backfired because it looks like Kylie went and snitched instead of being a boss and taking care of her employee.”
She pulled up the punishment.
“After this interaction, Hana was told that she’s no longer allowed to look at Kylie, smile at Kylie, and if she saw Kylie, she would have to disappear. Honestly, Kylie, I have a question for you. How do you receive a letter from your employee talking about what they’re going through, and then you go to the person that they’re reporting and report them as a snitch? That is just so messed up.”
She pulled up a comment.
“If you guys want to go and believe that maybe Kylie never saw the letter, sure, but it was on her massage bed, and I’m sure she got it.”
Another: “I hope she wins something. Maybe they’ll settle outside of court. She’ll get a little pocket money. But forgive me—there’s no way I would work for the Kardashians.”
She pulled up the third hinge.
“Kylie Jenner’s housekeeper wrote her a letter begging for help. Kylie handed it to the abuser. Then she told the housekeeper she couldn’t look at her anymore. That’s not a boss. That’s a villain origin story. And the fact that it happened twice—with two different housekeepers—isn’t a coincidence. It’s a culture.”
She pulled up the pre-party. The Bezos event. The Kardashians showing up anyway.
“But going back to the Met Gala drama, after Kylie and Timothée and Kim got done with their work things for the day, at night they decided to go and party it up at the pre-party hosted by Jeff Bezos.”
She pulled up the clip of Kris Jenner arriving.
“Oh my goodness.”
She pulled up a comment.
“Wait, how do you not mention that she’s with David Geffen? Is that Tom Gerardi? I thought she was holding Bezos. No. No. Bezos. No. Tom Gerardi. Not even Corey Gamble. It’s David Geffen. He’s actually a big-time gay billionaire who’s been in a messy lawsuit with his ex-husband who’s significantly younger than he is. I don’t think that they had a prenup. So, you know what? Go and get that bag.”
She paused.
“You guys know that Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner—they could care less what people think. There are other celebrities who are receiving backlash for attending this event. ‘Shame on these attendees who are so disconnected from reality that they champion systematic capitalism at its worst simply because they’re wealthy enough to be immune to the consequences.’ Jeff Bezos is sponsoring the Met Gala, and kudos to the celebrities who recognize their humanity and are choosing not to attend.”
She pulled up the fourth hinge.
“Kris Jenner showed up to Jeff Bezos’s pre-party on the arm of a billionaire. Not her daughter’s boyfriend. Not her husband. A different billionaire. The Kardashians don’t care about the protests. They don’t care about the housekeepers. They don’t care about the Amazon workers. They care about access. And Bezos has the biggest door in the world.”
She pulled up the protest. The pee bottles. The 72-year-old Amazon worker.
“Here is some of the protesting that I’ve been seeing online. So here’s a little empty water bottle rack for people to go and pee into the water bottles in case anyone at the Met Gala gets thirsty. Which is so disturbing.”
She pulled up a comment.
“While I’m supportive of how the Met Gala raises funds for the arts, I’m very concerned about Jeff Bezos’s involvement, especially as someone who has profited off of terrible employee standards and conditions.”
She nodded.
“I 100% agree. This person noted that that little thing was removed. Well, hopefully Jeff got a little sip of his water before.”
She pulled up the analysis.
“Let’s talk about Jeff and his blowup doll a little bit more because so many people are upset that Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez, his injectable, have been named co-chairs. But it’s not like they were honestly named co-chairs. They were named because they paid for it.”
She pulled up the Amazon studio pressure.
“This person made a great point that Amazon is one of the major studios now making television shows and movies. So a lot of actors and actresses might feel pressured to go and attend rather than boycott, because Jeff Bezos owns a studio that could potentially hire them.”
She paused.
“I don’t understand why people think the rich won’t hang out with the rich, or that their fave is better than your fave. Realistically, wealthy people have politics, and they are the exact same for the simple fact that it helps their pockets.”
She pulled up the clip of the 72-year-old Amazon worker.
“I’m a seventy-two-year-old warehouse worker at one of your facilities. When we struggle from paycheck to paycheck, from week to week, it angers me. Because if it weren’t for every associate in every Amazon facility, he wouldn’t have all those zeros behind his name. Shame on you, Jeff Bezos. The people that need to be being celebrated at the Met Gala are the workers. People like me.”
She paused.
“Seventy-two years old and having to work. This world is depraved. Tax the rich. Billionaires should not exist.”
She pulled up a comment.
“Why are people still buying from him and making him richer by the day?”
She pulled up the fifth hinge.
“A seventy-two-year-old Amazon worker is still on the clock. She can’t afford to retire. She can’t afford to stop. And Jeff Bezos is spending ten million dollars on a party. That’s not capitalism. That’s cruelty. And the only difference between her and the celebrities on the red carpet is that she can’t afford to boycott. She has to show up. Every single day.”
She pulled up Zendaya. The boycott. The moral compass.
“There are other celebrities who are receiving backlash for attending this event. And it seems like other celebrities like Bella Hadid actually liked a post about the Met Gala and how it’s terrible that Jeff Bezos is part of this.”
She pulled up a comment.
“It’s interesting to see who will be attending the Met Gala this year. I know Zendaya announced that she won’t be attending, and I feel like Zendaya actually does have a moral compass.”
She paused.
“Wait, wow. Somebody who’s rich and famous and a celebrity has a moral compass. Well, at least one.”
She pulled up the report.
“PSA: Zendaya will not be attending the Met Gala tomorrow. This was reported by W a couple of days ago, and they basically just cited the fact that Zendaya has been doing back-to-back press tours for ‘The Drama’ and ‘Euphoria.’ But I can’t help but feel like it has something to do with the fact that Jeff Bezos is basically bankrolling this year’s Met Gala.”
She pulled up the Law Roach connection.
“We do know though that Law Roach, her stylist, will be there. He also did a solo interview with W. So you can read that. I would also like to point out that apparently Law Roach has been styling Lauren Bezos as well. So I don’t know—maybe there’s a bit of contention there.”
She paused.
“I feel like Zendaya has always been one to take a bit of a political stance. I mean, the whole ‘Euphoria’ press tour—she refused to be seen with Sydney Sweeney, who is, you know, MAGA-adjacent. Also avoided Sam Levinson and all the controversy surrounding him. That video of her snubbing him on the red carpet for a photo is hilarious. Chef’s kiss. All of that to say, Zendaya is not afraid to take a stance on where she stands.”
She pulled up a comment.
“A huge loss for fashion and the Met Gala this year, but honestly, good for her for sticking up for her beliefs. I feel like a lot of celebrities should be doing this.”
She paused.
“According to reports, Zendaya is taking a break from the spotlight, which is why she’s skipping out on the Met Gala. But I feel like it might be a boycotting reason—though she probably can’t say that because remember, Amazon Studios—”
She pulled up the sixth hinge.
“Zendaya is skipping the Met Gala. Her stylist is dressing Lauren Sanchez. Her ex-boss is Sam Levinson. Her industry is owned by Jeff Bezos. And somehow, she’s still managed to walk away with her reputation intact. That’s not luck. That’s strategy. And the rest of Hollywood should be taking notes.”
She sat back. The screen cycled through the images—Sabrina running from cameras, Kylie’s housekeeper letter, Kris arriving on David Geffen’s arm, the pee bottles, the 72-year-old worker, Zendaya’s empty chair.
“The 2026 Met Gala is already a disaster,” she said. “And I’ve never seen anything like this. Celebrities who have been planning on attending for months and months are calling out sick because they don’t want to be associated with Jeff Bezos. Remember, he bought his way into Vogue and into the Met Gala. And it seems like it’s just a billionaire takeover. And we’re tired of it.”
She paused.
“Especially people in New York City who are protesting. They’re putting up posters. They’re hiding pee bottles. They’re calling for boycotts. And a seventy-two-year-old Amazon worker is standing in front of a camera, begging Jeff Bezos to remember that she exists.”
She pulled up the final hinge.
“The Met Gala is supposed to be fashion’s biggest night. But this year, it’s something else. It’s a referendum. On Bezos. On billionaires. On who gets to celebrate and who gets to struggle. Zendaya said no. Bella Hadid liked a post. The protesters are in the streets. And the workers are watching from their warehouses. The question isn’t whether the Met Gala will survive. The question is whether the rest of us will remember what happened after the last champagne glass is cleared.”
She reached for her water.
“I want to hear what you guys think of the Met Gala drama so far in the comments below. I will be giving you guys updates as we move along. But let me know what you think, and I’ll see you in a new video soon. Bye, guys.”
